Create DeviceNet Network Software Files Chapter 2

3. Click Browse.

When the Device Selection dialog

box appears, browse to the 1769-

SDN scanner module over an

EtherNet/IP network or USB

connection.

This example uses an EtherNet/IP

network connection.

4. Under the AB_ETHIP-1 driver,

expand the path to the 1769-SDN

scanner module as shown in the

example graphic.

5. Click OK.

6. If you receive a linking device

warning, click Yes.

The Node Commissioning dialog

box is populated with the

1769-SDN module’s current

settings.
